Phantom of the Opera
The musical Phantom of the Opera was written by Andrew Lloyd Webber and was first performed on the West End in 1986. The musical is based on a French novel called Le Fantome de L’Opera by Gaston Leroux. The musical is massively successful and claims the title of the longest running musical on Broadway. It is a classic that has continually impressed audiences throughout its 9,000 performances.
