War Horse

The play sees life sized horse puppets from the Handspring Puppet Company which were received with well and the critics raved over the puppets. The Handspring Puppet Company is a South African company and has been the leaders in puppetry since 1985. Their use in creating ‘Joey’ undoubtedly aided the success of the play. The play was directed by Marianne Elliot and Tom Morris, the design by Rae Smith, sound by Christopher Shufft and lighting by Paule Constable. The music and lyrics of War Horse is the work of Adrian Sutton and John Tams.

The cast has been carefully selected with Luke Treadaway as Albert Naracott, Toby Sedgwick as Ted Naracott and Angus Wright as Captain Nicholls. The New London Theatre production is currently booking until September 2009 and has been successfully running at the theatre since September 2008 the production continues to produce sell out performances.
